Trims and Powertrains

Genesis offers the all-wheel-drive GV60 in two trims: Advanced and Performance. The Advanced has a 74-kW motor in the front and a 160-kW motor in the rear that combine to make 314 horsepower. The Performance trim boasts a combined output of 429 horsepower, coming from a 160-kW motor at each axle. With the Performance trim, Boost Mode delivers a temporary horsepower increase to 483. Both trims have a 77.4 kWh battery.

The EPA’s official estimates give the Advanced a combined MPGe (miles per gallon equivalent) rating of 95, while the Performance comes in with a combined 90 MPGe rating. The Advanced has a maximum driving range of 248 miles, which changes to 235 miles for the Performance. The GV60 can tow up to 2,000 pounds and has a cargo capacity of 54.7 cubic feet (behind the first row).

Via a Level 3 charging station (250kW), the GV60 can be recharged from 10% to 80% in as little as 18 minutes. A Level 2 240-volt (home) charger can take the GV60’s battery from 10% to 100% in about seven hours. Bi-directional charging is standard with the GV60, meaning that the car’s battery can charge other EVs and electrical devices.
