The five-passenger 2024 Genesis GV60 is available in three trims: Standard, Advanced, and Performance. All are underpinned by the automaker’s E-GMP platform but feature varying electric motor configurations. The rear-drive Standard model gets a single 168-kW motor making 225 horsepower and 258 lb.-ft. of torque. In the middle of the pack, the all-wheel drive Advanced combines a 160-kW motor and a 74-kW motor for a robust 314 hp and 446 lb.-ft. of torque. The Performance trim replaces the 74-kW motor with a second 160-kW unit, resulting in 429 hp and 516 lb.-ft. of torque.
With its substantial 77.4-kWh battery, the GV60 offers varying ranges: 295 miles with the Standard (125 MPGe city/99 MPGe highway), 248 miles with the Advanced (103 city/86 highway), and 235 miles with the Performance (97 city/82 highway). For charging, the GV60 can go from 10 to 80 percent in as little as 18 minutes captures the mechanical energy created during braking and stores it as electric power in the battery.
The Standard GV60 has plenty of noteworthy features, starting with LED headlights, power-folding side mirrors, rain-sensing wipers, a panoramic fixed-glass ‘Vision Roof,’ roof rails, a hands-free liftgate, and convenient facial recognition access through Face Connect. Inside, it gets a fingerprint authentication system, synthetic-leather seats that are heated and power-adjustable in the front row, a driver’s-seat cushion extender, an auto-dimming rearview mirror with HomeLink, ambient interior lighting, a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, a head-up display, a power telescoping steering wheel, dual-zone automatic climate control, and wireless phone charging.
The Advanced adds genuine leather upholstery, ventilated front seats, a synthetic-leather instrument panel, manual rear-door sunshades, four USB-C ports, an onboard V2L charging system, and active noise control. The Performance takes luxury and excitement to the next level with Digital Key, an electronically controlled suspension, an electronic limited-slip differential, Nappa leather seats, microfiber suede linings, an improved driver’s seat with power bolsters, a heated steering wheel, and heated rear seats.
Genesis incorporates an extensive array of standard driving aids into every GV60 trim. That includes forward collision-avoidance assist, lane keeping assist, lane following assist, driver attention warning, blind-spot collision-avoidance assist, rear cross-traffic collision-avoidance assist, parking sensors, adaptive cruise control with highway driving assist, intelligent speed limit assist, safe exit assist, and automatic high beams. Both the Advanced and Performance gain these additional safety features: Remote Smart Parking Assist, a blind-spot view monitor, parking collision-avoidance assist, a surround-view camera, and rear occupant alert.
The standard infotainment system in the 2024 Genesis GV60 consists of a 12.3-inch touchscreen that’s used to manage navigation, smartphone integration (Android Auto and Apple CarPlay), HD Radio, SiriusXM satellite radio, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and Bluetooth hands-free phone and audio streaming. For enhanced audio quality, the Advanced and Performance both get a 17-speaker B&O sound system. All trims are compatible with Genesis Connected Services, which offers a range of convenient telematics services accessible through your smartphone.
