Genesis offers the 2025 Electrified GV70 in two trim packages: Advanced and Prestige. Both incorporate an all-electric, all-wheel drive powertrain based around a 77.4 kWh battery and dual (per axle) 160 kW motors. The system produces a combined 429 horsepower, increasing to 483 horsepower when the short-term Boost Mode is engaged. The EPA estimates a 236-mile range along with an MPGe (mile per gallon equivalent) rating of 98 in the city and 83 on the highway.
Via Level 3/DC fast charging, the Electrified GV70 needs about 18 minutes to recharge from 10% to 80% at peak conditions. A Level 2/240-volt system can charge from 10% to 100% in approximately 7 hours. This EV can even deliver power through a Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) system through a 110-volt outlet for small appliances and electronic devices). Genesis makes charging even more convenient by including 3 years of complimentary 30-minute DC fast-charging sessions at Electrify America locations.
Even the Advanced trim underscores the fact that the Electrified GV70 is, above all, a luxury vehicle. Standard equipment includes a panoramic sunroof, leather seating surfaces, a hands-free liftgate, and tri-zone climate control. Behind the wheel, the driver is treated to a 14-way power seat with heat, ventilation, massage, and a memory system. There’s also a power cushion extension and lumbar support. Meanwhile, the copilot can enjoy a 12-way power seat with heat, ventilation, and power lumbar support. The Advanced also has LED headlights, an 8-inch digital driver display, a power telescoping steering column, power-folding electrochromic side mirrors, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, ambient cabin lighting, Genesis Digital Key (a smartphone app for vehicle access and use without a physical key), multiple USB ports, wireless device charging, and 20-inch alloy wheels.
The Prestige further spoils occupants with Nappa leather upholstery, a heated steering wheel, heated second-row seats, a head-up display, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, active noise control, a microfiber suede headliner, a leatherette-wrapped upper instrument panel, and manual rear-door shades.
Driver confidence is supported with a suite of standard advanced driver-assist technologies, such as forward collision-avoidance assist, blind-spot collision-avoidance assist, a blind-spot view monitor, rear cross-traffic collision-avoidance assist, lane-keeping assist, lane-following assist, a surround-view monitor, enhanced highway driving assist, adaptive cruise control, and automatic high beams. The Electrified GV70 also has Remote Smart Parking Assist, front and rear parking sensors, reverse parking collision-avoidance assist, driver attention warning, advanced rear occupant alert, and safe exit assist. Also standard are a complete set of airbags, anti-lock brakes, stability control, traction control, hill-start assist, and a rearview monitor.
The Electrified GV70’s infotainment setup can be controlled using its 14.5-inch touchscreen or the center console touchpad. Its components include navigation, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and SiriusXM satellite radio. Audio starts with an eight-speaker system in the Advanced that’s upgraded to a 15-speaker Lexicon arrangement in the Prestige. Standard Genesis Connected Services provides access to emergency support, vehicle monitoring, and other features.
