The 2025 GV80 lineup consists of five trim levels: 2.5T Standard, 2.5T Advanced, 2.5T Prestige, 3.5T Advanced, and 3.5T Prestige. The 2.5T designation represents a 2.5-liter turbocharged inline-4 paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive (AWD). This powertrain delivers 300 horsepower and EPA-estimated fuel economy ratings of 19 mpg city/24 mpg highway. The 3.5T denotes a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6, an 8-speed automatic transmission, and an AWD driveline. It makes 375 horsepower and carries EPA-estimated fuel economy ratings of 16 mpg city/22 mpg highway.
Although each ‘25 GV80 has a distinct set of standard features, one of the most important differences between the trims is their interior configuration. The 2.5T grades have two rows with seating for up to five passengers, while the 3.5T trims have a power-folding third row that increases the seating capacity to seven.
The 2.5T Standard has simulated leather upholstery, a power hands-free liftgate with auto open, power-folding side mirrors with puddle lights bearing the Genesis logo, a passenger walk-in device, a fingerprint authentication system, piano-black gloss trim, heated four-way power adjustable front seats, a heated steering wheel, wireless device charging, adjustable ambient lighting, four USB ports, a 110-volt AC power outlet in the second row, two 12-volt power outlets (front row and cargo area), a cargo net and cover, manual rear-door sunshades, 19-inch alloy wheels, and a Mood Curator feature that allows the driver to program settings for the audio, seat massage, lighting, sunshades, and fragrance. The 2.5T Advanced is defined by genuine leather, matte-finish wood trim, a leatherette-wrapped instrument panel, heated and ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, and 20-inch alloy wheels. The 2.5T Prestige upgrades to 22-inch alloy wheels and adds proximity key with push-button start, tri-zone climate control, a head-up display, aluminum door-sill plates, heated rear seats, and a driver’s seat with power cushion extension, bolster, and Ergo Motion.
The 3.5T Advanced comes with the previously mentioned power-folding third row, quad-zone climate control, and 20-inch alloy wheels, while the 3.5T Prestige is fully loaded with a digital rearview mirror, microfiber suede pillars and headliner, a heated front console armrest, tri-zone climate control, power door closure, power rear-door sunshades, and 22-inch alloy wheels.
Even the entry-level 2.5T Standard comes well-appointed with advanced safety features and driver-assistive technologies, including smart cruise control, intelligent speed limit assist, blind-spot collision-avoidance assist, driver attention warning, Highway Driving Assist 2, forward attention warning, forward collision-avoidance assist, lane following assist, lane keeping assist, rear cross-traffic collision-avoidance assist, advanced rear occupant alert, safe exit assist, and high beam assist. The 2.5T Advanced and higher add both a surround view monitor and a blind-spot view monitor, plus parking distance warning, parking collision-avoidance assist, and Remote Smart Parking Assist. The rearview monitor on the 3.5T Advanced and 3.5T Prestige is improved with dynamic guidelines in the path display.
An expansive 27-inch OLED instrument cluster and navigation system is at the center of the GV80’s dashboard. Its standard technologies include wireless Android Auto, wireless Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth, HD Radio, and SiriusXM satellite radio. All trims also have access to Genesis connected services and the Genesis Digital Key 2, allowing compatible smartphones to control certain vehicle functions. The base trim receives a high-quality 12-speaker sound system, while the others upgrade to a premium Bang & Olufsen audio system with 18 speakers.
