Blending outstanding design with cutting-edge EV technology, the Genesis Electrified GV70 reflects the world-class appeal of its gas-powered sibling, the GV70, while representing the future of all-electric propulsion. This luxury EV uses dual electric motors to generate a remarkable 483 horsepower, with the ability to launch the vehicle from 0 to 60 mph in around five seconds. While it offers thrilling acceleration, the Electrified GV70 remains every bit the refined and comfortable vehicle you’d expect from the Genesis brand.
For 2026, Genesis has updated the Electrified GV70 with improvements to its style, capability, and technology. The exterior showcases a redesigned dual-weave mesh grille, new two-line multi-lens array (MLA) headlights, revised taillights, updated wheels, and a more user-friendly charge-port door. The interior gets a major tech upgrade in the form of a striking 27-inch OLED display that merges the digital gauge cluster and infotainment system into one streamlined interface. The touchscreen climate-control panel has been repositioned to the center console, while Digital Key 2 adds a new layer of convenience by letting you access and start the vehicle from your smartphone.
One of the most significant improvements to the ‘26 Electrified GV70 is its larger (84-kWh) battery, which increases estimated range up to 263 miles. For added versatility, the new Terrain Mode includes selectable settings for snow, mud, and sand, allowing you to tackle a variety of road and weather conditions with confidence.

The 2026 Electrified GV70 is a five-passenger compact luxury crossover EV that Genesis offers in three trim levels: Base, Advanced, and Prestige. The model has a 160-kW electric motor on each axle, producing a combined output of 429 horsepower and 516 lb.-ft. of torque. With Boost Mode engaged, horsepower surges to 483 for 10 seconds of exhilarating acceleration. All trims get an all-wheel drivetrain (AWD) for capable handling in varied weather conditions; an electronically controlled suspension with road preview is found across the lineup as well. The maximum towing capacity is 3,500 pounds.
As mentioned, one of the key updates for 2026 is the introduction of an 84-kWh battery pack, which allows for increased driving range over the previous model year. The Electrified GV70’s Base trim has the highest EPA-estimated range at 263 miles on a full charge, or 103 MPGe in the city and 88 MPGe on the highway. The Advanced and Prestige have slightly reduced range of 243 miles, the equivalent of 96 MPGe city/80 MPGe highway. Using a public DC fast charger, you can replenish the battery from 10 to 80 percent in as little as 19 minutes, making long-distance travel more convenient.
The base version of the ‘26 Electrified GV70 is nicely set up with perforated leather upholstery, heated power-adjustable front seats with position memory for the driver, a fingerprint authentication system, wireless phone charging, a panoramic sunroof, a power hands-free liftgate, adjustable ambient lighting, an auto-dimming rearview mirror with HomeLink, aluminum interior trim, a 60/40-split folding second-row seatback, and stylish 19-inch alloy wheels. Electric accessories can be plugged in to the GV70’s 110-volt vehicle-to-load (V2L) system for power during power outages or activities such as camping and tailgating. There is also a 110-volt power outlet in the second row.
The Advanced takes comfort and convenience further with heated/ventilated front seats, a passenger walk-in device, tri-zone automatic climate control, and the high-comfort Ergo Motion driver’s seat with power cushion extension and power-adjustable bolsters. This mid-grade trim also receives a heated power tilt-and-telescopic steering wheel, Digital Key 2, exclusive Milky Way backlit interior trim, power-folding side mirrors with Genesis-logo puddle lamps, and 20-inch alloy wheels. Refinement peaks with the Prestige, which gets luxuriously soft Nappa leather upholstery, a leatherette-wrapped upper instrument panel, a microfiber suede headliner, heated outboard second-row seats, a head-up display, manual rear-door sunshades, and active noise control for a most serene ride.
