Trims and Powertrains

The 2026 G70 lineup is divided into three trims: 2.5T (base), 2.5T Sport Prestige, and 3.3T Sport Prestige. The 2.5T versions get their power from a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine rated for 300 horsepower. The 3.3T trim upgrades to a twin-turbocharged 3.3-liter V6 producing 365 horsepower. An eight-speed automatic transmission handles gear changes across the board. Rear-wheel drive (RWD) is standard on all trims, with all-wheel drive (AWD) offered as an option.

The estimated fuel economy for the 2.5T RWD is 21 mpg around town and 29 mpg on the open road, while AWD versions see a change to 20 in the city and 28 on the highway. The 3.3T with is rated to achieve 17 city/25 highway. AWD changes the 3.3T’s highway fuel economy to 23 mpg.

Standard Features

As the base trim, the 2.5T gets upscale standard equipment such as leatherette upholstery, heated front seats with power controls (12-way driver/8-way passenger), Brembo brakes, and a hands-free opening trunk. It also has LED exterior lighting (with auto-leveling headlamps), a leatherette-wrapped lower instrument panel, an 8-inch digital instrument cluster with analog gauges, proximity keyless entry, push-button ignition, a 60/40-split folding rear seat, heated power side mirrors with LED turn indicators, four USB ports, dual exhaust tips, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and 19-inch alloy wheels. A heated steering wheel is added in conjunction with the optional AWD.

The 2.5T Sport Prestige adds a power sunroof, leather upholstery, heated and ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, a driver's memory system, a power tilt-and-telescopic steering column, power-folding electrochromic side mirrors, rain-sensing windshield wipers, and wireless device charging. The 3.3T Sport Prestige gets the most luxurious touches, including a 16-way power driver's seat with bolsters and cushion extension, a 12-way power front passenger seat, a head-up display, Digital Key, exclusive exterior accents, alloy pedals, and 19-inch wheels.

Advanced Driver Aids and Safety Technology

All G70 trims include a full suite of driver-assistance technologies, consisting of forward collision-avoidance assist, lane-keeping assist, lane-following assist, blind-spot collision warning, rear cross-traffic collision-avoidance assist, adaptive cruise control, speed limit assist, automatic high beams, driver attention warning, rear occupant alert, safe exit warning, and highway driving assist. The 2.5T Prestige and 3.3T Sport Prestige also get a blind-spot view monitor, a surround-view monitor, and front and rear parking sensors. Every trim is stocked with an array of airbags, electronic stability control, traction control, anti-lock brakes, and a rearview monitor.

Infotainment and Connectivity

All trim levels of the ’26 G70 have a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system. This platform hosts integrated navigation, Bluetooth, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and SiriusXM satellite radio. The 2.5T has a six-speaker sound system which is upgraded to a 15-speaker Lexicon arrangement in the higher trims. Access to Genesis Connected Services is included, bringing together emergency support, vehicle status updates, and remote access features via smartphone.
