Trims and Powertrains

The 2026 Genesis G80 features two primary trims: the 2.5T AWD and 3.5T AWD, highlighting the engine type and standard all-wheel drive. There are three 2.5T packages: 2.5T AWD, 2.5T Advanced AWD, and 2.5T Sport Prestige AWD, and two for the 3.5T: 3.5T Sport Prestige AWD and 3.5T Prestige Black AWD. The 2.5T has a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that makes 300 horsepower, while the 3.5T uses a twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6 that produces 375 horsepower. An eight-speed automatic transmission manages both powertrains. The smaller powerplant is EPA-rated for 20 mpg in the city and 29 mpg on the highway. Estimated fuel economy for the V6 is 15 mpg around town and 24 mpg on the open road.

Standard Equipment by Trim Level

The 2.5T AWD is far from a base edition. It comes with leatherette upholstery, power front seats, heated front and rear seats, a heated steering wheel, a 27-inch instrument cluster and navigation system display, a fingerprint authentication system, Micro Lens Array LED headlights, and a hands-free trunk. Additional standard equipment for this trim includes dual-zone automatic climate control, power-folding electro-chromatic side mirrors, a leatherette-wrapped upper instrument panel, a power tilt-and-telescopic steering column, adjustable ambient cabin lighting, four USB ports (two per row), and 18-inch alloy wheels.

The amenities list expands with the 2.5T Advanced, which has a panoramic sunroof, heated and ventilated front seats, tri-zone automatic climate control, a hands-free power trunk with automatic open, a power rear sunshade, rear side sunshades, a digital key, matte-finish wood trim, wireless device charging, and 19-inch alloy wheels. The 2.5T Sport Prestige brings the G80 further upmarket with leather upholstery, an enhanced driver's seat (power cushion extension and bolster and massage function), trim-exclusive interior accents, unique exterior treatments, and 20-inch wheels.

The 3.5T Sport Prestige has most of the features of the 2.5T Sport Prestige, plus Nappa leather upholstery, an electronically controlled suspension, a head-up display, soft-close doors, carbon-fiber interior accents, and a microfiber headliner and pillar coverings. The 3.5T Prestige Black builds on the 3.5T Sport Prestige with quilted Nappa leather upholstery, open-pore black ash wood, unique exterior styling, and exclusive 20-inch black-finished wheels.

Advanced Driver Aids and Safety Technology

The G80 has numerous advanced safety technologies installed, with every trim getting forward attention warning, forward collision-avoidance assist, lane keeping assist, lane following assist, blind-spot collision-avoidance assist, rear cross-traffic collision avoidance assist, highway driving assist, adaptive cruise control, and automatic high beams. Genesis also includes safe exit assist, rear occupant alert, driver attention warning, front and rear parking sensors, multiple airbags, stability and traction control, and a rearview monitor. The 2.5T Sport Prestige, 3.5T Sport Prestige, and 3.5T Black Prestige also receive Remote Smart Parking Assist, a surround-view monitor, a blind-spot view monitor, parking collision-avoidance assist (front/side/rear), and side parking sensors.

Infotainment and Connectivity

The G80’s infotainment platform is integrated into a sweeping 27-inch dashboard display that also houses the instrument cluster. Occupants can use the touchscreen or center console dial to control entertainment options, navigation, and other functions. All trims have wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, SiriusXM satellite radio, and access to Genesis Connected Services. The 2.5T trim has a nine-speaker audio system, while the higher grades move up to an 18-speaker Bang & Olufsen unit.
