The full-sized luxury sedan market would not be complete without, the Genesis G90, which represents value as it supplies similar attributes to the German entrants but at a lower price point. Model year 2026 brings a new trim, the 3.5T E-SC Prestige Black AWD. It gets the same hybrid powertrain as the existing 3.5T E-SC MHEV AWD, with an electric supercharger that boosts horsepower by nearly 10 percent. It also comes with semi-aniline leather upholstery and a distinctive dark look brought on by black ash-wood interior accents, black badging, and dark headlight bezels. In another change for 2026, the mid-range 3.5T E-SC MHEV AWD also adds carbon-fiber accents to its wood trim. The 2026 G90 is protected by the automaker’s standard 5-year/60,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty and a 10-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty, as well as three years or 36,000 miles of Complimentary Scheduled Maintenance.

The 2026 G90 offers three trims, the 3.5T AWD, 3.5T E-SC MHEV AWD, and 3.5T E-SC Prestige Black AWD. Every trim gets a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 and an 8-speed automatic transmission. This powerplant generates 375 horsepower and 391 lb.-ft. of torque in the base trim, but the two higher trims add a 48-volt electric supercharger, resulting in a mild-hybrid that puts out a combined 409 horsepower and 405 lb.-ft. of torque.
According to the EPA’s official fuel economy estimations, you can expect 18 mpg city and 26 mpg highway from the 3.5T AWD, while the two hybrid trims return 17 city/24 highway. All are equipped with an electronically controlled suspension and road preview, along with ventilated front and rear disc brakes. The 3.5T E-SC MHEV AWD and 3.5T E-SC Prestige Black are upgraded with a multi-chamber air suspension and rear-wheel steering.

The 3.5T AWD ensures its occupants’ comfort with Nappa leather upholstery, heated and ventilated power front seats with massage and power bolster adjustment, tri-zone temperature control with rear-seat controls, heated rear seats, a customizable mood curator, adjustable ambient interior lighting, power rear sunshades, and a heated steering wheel. It also gets a panoramic sunroof, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a head-up display, wireless smartphone charging, fingerprint authentication, a hands-free power smart trunk with auto-open, Genesis Digital Key 2, power-folding auto-dimming exterior mirrors with puddle lights, micro lens array LED headlights, LED taillights, LED daytime running lights, soft-close doors, matte-finished wood interior trim, a microfiber suede headliner and pillars, silver-painted brake calipers, and 20-inch alloy wheels.
The 3.5T E-SC MHEV AWD adds to the above with heated and ventilated rear seats with massage, a rear wireless smartphone charger, easy-close power doors with logic enhancement, matte wood and carbon-fiber interior trim, copper-painted brake calipers, and 21-inch alloy wheels. The 3.5T E-SC Prestige Black AWD stands out with quilted semi-aniline leather seats, dark headlight bezels, black ash-wood trim with decorative inlaid brass, dark exterior accents and badging, black-painted brake calipers, and 21-inch black alloy wheels with floating center caps.
Driver-Assist and Safety Technology
Every 2026 G90 has an array of sophisticated safety technologies installed. The list consists of Highway Driving Assist 2, Smart Cruise Control, Remote Smart Parking Assist 2, Advanced Rear Occupant Alert (with radar), Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist 2, blind spot collision-avoidance assist, rear cross-traffic collision-avoidance assist, lane following assist, lane keeping assist, parking collision-avoidance warning (forward/side/reverse), parking distance warning (front/side/rear), driver attention warning, a blind-spot view monitor, and a 360-degree surround-view monitor.
Infotainment and Connectivity
The standard infotainment array uses a 12.3-inch touchscreen to manage onboard navigation, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, SiriusXM satellite radio, and Bluetooth for phone calls and audio streaming. The 3.5T AWD’s Bang & Olufsen system has 18 speakers, while the other trims upgrade to Bang & Olufsen 3D Premium Audio system with 26 speakers and two amplifiers. Access to Genesis Connected Services is standard.
