Trims and Powertrains

The 2026 GV80 can be selected in any of eight trims, which are sorted initially by their namesake engine and drivetrain. The 2.5T RWD, 2.5T AWD, 2.5T Select AWD, 2.5T Advanced AWD, and 2.5T Prestige AWD have a 2.5-liter turbocharged 300-horsepower four-cylinder engine, while the 3.5T Advanced AWD, 3.5T Prestige AWD, and 3.5T Prestige Black get a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6. The 2.5T RWD is the only rear-wheel-drive (RWD) version, while all of the others have all-wheel drive (AWD). Genesis mates both drivetrains to an eight-speed automatic transmission with steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters.

The 2.5T RWD has been determined by the EPA to achieve 20 mpg in city driving and 26 mpg on the highway. Fuel economy for the other 2.5T trims is 19 mpg around town and 24 mpg on the open road. The larger engine brings gas mileage of 16 mpg city/22 mpg highway. All trims can tow up to 6,000 pounds with the proper equipment. The GV80 has 71.7 cubic feet of cargo space behind the first row and up to 38.7 cubic feet behind the second row. Most trims can hold 11.6 cubic feet behind the third row.

Standard Features

The 2.5T RWD and 2.5T AWD are similarly equipped with leatherette upholstery, a 12-way power driver's seat, tri-zone automatic climate control, a fingerprint authentication system, wireless device charging, push-button ignition, a leather-wrapped steering wheel with paddle shifters, a leatherette-wrapped upper dashboard and door panel inserts, four USB ports (two per row), rear privacy glass, sound-reducing windshield and front side window glass, and a power tilt-and-telescopic steering column. The standard exterior amenities are highlighted by proximity keyless entry, power-folding heated power mirrors (with integrated approach lighting), a hands-free liftgate, LED lighting with automatic headlamps, rain-sensing windshield wipers, and 19-inch aluminum wheels.

The 2.5T Select AWD adds a power panoramic sunroof, a heated steering wheel, rear side window sunshades, enhanced interior accents, a second-row 115-volt outlet, and 20-inch wheels. The standard upgrades for the 2.5T Advanced AWD include three-row seating for seven passengers, leather upholstery, heated and ventilated front seats, quad-zone automatic climate control, a digital key, and a power-folding third row. The 2.5T Prestige goes further upscale with an upgraded driver's seat (with a power cushion extension and bolster and massage), heated second-row seats, second-row climate controls, a head-up display, and 22-inch wheels.

The 3.5T Advanced AWD is outfitted similarly to its 2.5T counterpart. It also gets the upgraded driver's seat (with a power cushion extension and bolster and massage), heated second-row seats, four automatic climate control zones, and a head-up display. The 3.5T Prestige expands on these features by adding Nappa leather upholstery, heated and ventilated outboard second-row seats, a heated front console armrest, soft-close doors, power rear side-window sunshades, a microfiber headliner and pillar lining, a digital rearview mirror, and 22-inch wheels.

The 3.5T Prestige Black AWD reverts to a two-row layout with tri-zone automatic climate control but is otherwise equipped similarly to the regular 3.5T Prestige with some additions. Those added features include trim-specific Nappa leather upholstery, black ash-wood interior accents, power second-row seats (with recline, slide, and tilt), black-finished monobloc four-piston front brakes, and 22-inch black alloy wheels.

Advanced Driver Aids and Safety Technology

All 2026 GV80s have an advanced driver-assistance system that consists of adaptive cruise control, forward attention warning, forward collision-avoidance assist, blind-spot collision-avoidance assist, rear cross-traffic collision-avoidance assist, lane departure warning, lane-keeping assist, lane-following assist, highway driving assist, safe exit assist, advanced rear occupant alert, and driver attention warning. All trims also get front and rear parking sensors; the 2.5T Advanced and higher also receive side parking sensors, a surround-view monitor, a blind-spot view monitor, and parking collision-avoidance assist. A set of ten airbags is installed in every GV80, as are anti-lock brakes, stability control, traction control, hill-start assist control, downhill brake control, and a rearview monitor with parking guidelines.

Infotainment and Connectivity

The GV80’s cutting-edge infotainment platform is housed within a sweeping 27-inch LED display that incorporates driver instrumentation and a center touchscreen supported by a rotary control knob and a track pad for easier use while underway. The system features wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay as well as SiriusXM satellite radio. A nine-speaker audio system is the standard format, while the 2.5T Advanced and higher trims rise to an 18-speaker Bang & Olufsen arrangement. All trims come with Wi-Fi hotspot capability and access to Genesis Connected Services for emergency assistance, vehicle monitoring, and other remote features.
